Use keyboard shortcuts with an external keyboard in Word for iPad
Using an external keyboard with your iPad allows you to take advantage of the keyboard shortcuts you're familiar with if you use Word on a Mac or Windows computer. For example, on your Windows computer, you paste text into an Office document by pressing CONTROL+V, but on the iPad, you press +V. The shortcuts listed in this article are the only ones that work in this version of Word.
