Use AutoSum to sum numbers

Use AutoSum to sum numbers

If you need to sum the contents of a column or row, let Excel do the math for you.

  1. To sum a column of numbers, tap to select the cell immediately below the last number in the column.

    Select column for Autosum

  2. On the Formulas tab, tap AutoSum .

  3. Tap Sum and then tap return.

    You're done!

  1. Tap to select the cell immediately below the last number in the column.

  2. Tap the ribbon button Excel for Android Ribbon access menu .

  3. Tap Formulas.

  4. Tap AutoSum.

    Select AutoSum

  5. Tap Sum.

    Select Sum

  6. Tap the check mark.

    You're done!

    Sum complete

  1. In a worksheet, tap the first empty cell after a range of cells that has numbers, or tap and drag to select the range of cells you want to calculate.
