Change the formatting of grouping levels

Change the formatting of grouping levels

You can change how rows (or levels) of information within views appear when task and resource information is grouped within the Project Center, Resource Center, Project, and Assignment views. By changing the appearance of these grouping levels, you can highlight specific information for your team members.

  1. On the Quick Launch, click Server Settings.

  2. On the Server Settings page, click Grouping Formats. A list of grouping formats will appear.

  3. In the Grouping format list, select the grouping level that you want to format.

To rename the grouping level, select the grouping format in the Grouping format list, and then click Rename. Type the new name, and then click OK to apply the new name to the grouping format.

  4. Select the grouping level for the view's rows, and then select the color, pattern, and font settings that you want to change for that format.

  5. Click Save.

Why can't I perform some actions in Project Web Access?

Depending on the permissions settings you used to log on to Project Web Access, you may not be able to see or use certain features. Also, what you see on some pages may differ from what is documented if your server administrator customized Project Web Access and did not customize the Help to match.
