OneDrive system requirements
OneDrive requires an active Microsoft account, or a work or school account. For help with creating a Microsoft account or signing in, see: Microsoft account help
The OneDrive desktop sync app requires the following:

Operating system:

32- or 64-bit version of Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1, or Windows 7.

Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2012 (including R2), Windows Server 2008 R2, or Windows Server 2008 with Service Pack 2 and the Platform Update for Windows Server 2008.

Mac OS X 10.10 or later.
Note: OneDrive is phasing out support for Windows Server 2008 in November 2017. For more information, see OneDrive End Of Support Notice.

Processor: 1.6 GHz or higher, or Intel-based Mac computer

Memory: 1 GB of RAM or higher

Resolution: 1024 × 576 minimum

Internet connection: High-speed Internet access is recommended.

File systems: NTFS or HFS+ (case insensitive) or APFS (case insensitive)
The OneDrive mobile app requires one of the following:

A phone or tablet with Android 5.0 or later. Get the Android app.

An iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 10.0 or later Get the iOS app.

A phone running Windows Phone 7.5 or later. Get the Windows phone app
For the best experience on the OneDrive website, we recommend using the latest version of Edge, Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.
Notes:

The OneDrive desktop sync app isn't supported on Windows XP or Linux.

OneDrive desktop sync app functionality is built into Windows 10 and Windows 8.1 and now supports connecting to OneDrive for Business to sync your work or school files. For more information, see Sync files with the new OneDrive sync client in Windows.
