Analyze project and resource performance by using Project Server
You can analyze project performance and resource performance within a project or across multiple projects by using PivotTable view and PivotChart views. PivotChart views and PivotTable views enable you to work interactively with reports and change some of the fields that structure the report. They help you to understand the health of your organization in terms of project and resource performance.

On the Collaborate menu, click Data Analysis.

In the Choose a view box, select the view that displays the type of information that you want.
Note: Your server administrator determines the types of PivotTable views and PivotChart views that you see.

To change the information that is displayed in the PivotTable views and PivotChart views, click View Options . Select the Show Field List and Show Toolbars check boxes, and then drag the fields from the Fields list onto the appropriate row and column areas of the PivotTable view or PivotChart view.

To show more detail in the PivotTable view or PivotChart view, on the Actions menu, click Expand. To show less detail, click Collapse.

You can view other reports that have been customized for your organization using Microsoft Office Project Web Access. From Office Project Web Access, on the Quick Launch, under Reporting, click Enterprise Reports.

To learn more about modifying the PivotTable views or PivotChart views, click Help on the PivotTable toolbar or PivotChart toolbar.

You can create an image of a PivotTable view or PivotChart view that you can copy into a report or a document on the Web. Click Save PivotTable as Image or Save Chart as Image, and then specify a location for the image file.
