Set up your computer to sync SharePoint Server on-premises files
To work with files from SharePoint site libraries directly in File Explorer and access the files even when you're offline, you can sync the files to your computer. Whenever you're online, any changes that you or others made will sync automatically.
To sync on-premises instances of OneDrive for Business or SharePoint site libraries (when you don't have an Office 365 business or 21 Vianet subscription), you need to use the previous OneDrive for Business sync client. This article describes how to sync files using the previous OneDrive for Business sync client. If you have an Office 365 business subscription and want to get the new OneDrive sync client, see Get started syncing SharePoint sites with the new OneDrive sync client. To find out which version of the sync client you have, see Which OneDrive sync client am I using?
Note: Unfortunately, it's not possible to sync on-premises OneDrive for Business or SharePoint files to a Mac computer. We're working on this functionality.

In Classic SharePoint, the Sync button is here:
-
If you don't see a Sync button, select the Library tab and then select Sync in the Connect & Export group.
-
-
At the prompt, click Sync Now to start the sync app wizard. The wizard automatically fills in the name and web address of the library.
-
Select Sync Now in the wizard to start syncing.
You can click Show my files… in the wizard to open the synced library in File Explorer. The folder is listed under Favorites, in the SharePoint folder.
