Is there a text highlighting feature in Publisher?

Although text highlighting is not available in Microsoft Publisher, you can emphasize text by applying different colors, styles, or font effects to the text in your publication. You can also add a color behind text in a text box by changing the fill color.

Format the text in your publication

1. Select either the text that you want to format or the empty text box that you want to type the text in.

2. On the Format menu, click Font, and then select the options that you want.

Change the fill color in a text box

1. On the Format menu, click Text Box, and then click the Colors and Lines tab.

2. Under Fill, click the color you want in the Color list.
