Search for tagged notes

If you previously added tags to any of your notes, Microsoft OneNote 2010 can search your notes by tag keywords and present the results in an easy-to-read summary.

Do the following:

1. On the Home tab, in the Tags group, click Find Tags.

2. In the Task Summary task pane that opens, click any tag to find and open the page that contains the associated note.

3. If too many results are displayed, you can narrow the search at the bottom of the Task Summary task pane by clicking the Search drop-down, making a new selection from the list, and clicking Refresh Results.

Tip:  If you want to view the search results as a notes page, click the Create Summary Page button at the bottom of the Tags Summary task pane.
