Rename a layout in slide master in PowerPoint 2016 for Mac

1. On the View tab, click Slide Master.

   

2. In the slide thumbnails on the left, click the layout you want to rename.

3. On the Slide Master tab, click Rename.

   

4. In the Rename Layout dialog box, type a new name, and then click Rename.
