Can I add check boxes in Word Online?

If you've added check boxes to a document in the Word desktop app, Word Online will preserve your work. Unfortunately, you can't edit or add check boxes in Word Online.

If you own the desktop version of Word, you can use it to add check boxes to create a checklist. Click Open in Word to use the desktop app to edit your document.

If you don't own the Word desktop app, you can try or buy the latest version of Office now.
