Highlighting text

Word contains many highlighters to make your text pop off the screen just as if you were highlighting paper with a fluorescent marker.

Select the text you want to highlight, click Home, click the arrow next to Text Highlight Color, and then click the color you want.

If you want to remove the highlight, select the highlighted text and choose No Color from the dropdown. If you want to remove all highlighted text at once, select all the text (pressing Ctrl+A is a shortcut), then choose No Color.
