Remove double-space line spacing

Have too much space between the lines of your document? Use the Line Spacing button on the Home tab to make it look the way you want:

1. Click Edit Document > Edit in Word Online if you haven't already.

2. Click anywhere in the paragraph you want to change, or press Ctrl+A to select all text.

3. Click Home > Line Spacing.

   

4. Select the number of lines of spacing you want.

Tip:  For even more control, click Line Spacing Options and select the exact options you want.
