Create an Outlook meeting request in OneNote

Create an Outlook meeting request in OneNote

If you have Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 installed, you can schedule meetings while you take notes in Microsoft Office OneNote 2007. Meetings are added to your Outlook calendar and meeting invitations are sent to the recipients you specify.

To schedule a meeting in OneNote, you set up an appointment, and then you specify that the appointment is a meeting.

  1. On the Tools menu, point to Create Outlook Item, and then click Create Outlook Appointment.

  2. On the Appointment tab, do the following:

    • In the Subject box, type a description.

    • In the Location box, type the location of the meeting.

    • Enter the start and end times.

  3. Click Invite Attendees.

  4. Type a name or names in the To box.

  5. Select any additional options that you want.

  6. Click Send.

Note: You must open Outlook before you can add meetings to your schedule and send meeting invitations.
