Enable the dynamic grid

The dynamic grid displays dotted lines on the drawing page to show the best location for the center of the next shape that you drop on the page, based on where you have placed previous shapes.

1. On the Tools menu, click Snap & Glue.

2. Click the General tab, and under Currently active, select Dynamic grid, and then click OK.
