Delete a shape

Delete a shape

Select the shape, and then do one of the following:

  • Press DELETE.

  • On the Edit menu, click Cut, or press CTRL+X.

Tip: To delete the entire page, right-click the page tab, and click Delete Page.

Notes: 

  • Some shapes and layers may be locked so that they cannot be deleted.

  • To unlock a shape, select the shape, and on the Format menu, click Protection, and then clear the From deletion check box.

  • To unlock a layer, on the View menu, click Layer Properties, and then clear the check box in the Lock column by clicking the cell in the row for the layer that you want to unlock.

  • To delete a master shape from your Favorites stencil or from another custom stencil you have previously created, right-click the master shape that you want to delete, and then click Delete Master. To save your changes, click the Save Stencil icon in the stencil title bar.
