Add or edit UML element operations

1. Double-click the icon in the tree view or the shape in a diagram that represents the element.

2. Do one of the following:

   • To add an operation, click Operations. Type or choose the operation properties you want, or click the next empty row in the operations list and start typing a name; a new operation is added.

   • To edit an operation, click Operations and select the operations you want to edit. Type or choose the operation properties you want.

3. To specify additional operation properties, click Properties. Type or choose the operation properties you want.

4. Click OK, then click OK again.

Tip: You can also add operations to a UML element by right-clicking the element's icon in the tree view or its shape in a diagram, and then clicking Properties on the shortcut menu.
