Keyboard shortcuts for navigating the calendar in Outlook 2016

You can navigate and use your calendar in Outlook 2016 by using keyboard shortcuts and a screen reader.

Notes: 

  • This topic assumes that JAWS users have turned off the Virtual Ribbon Menu feature. When you use PowerPoint Online, we recommend that you use Internet Explorer as your browser.

  • PowerPoint Online is a web-based application, so the keyboard shortcuts and navigation may be different from those in PowerPoint 2016.

Global navigation

To move between the ribbon and the calendar, press F6.  

To move between the Navigation pane and the calendar, press Ctrl+Tab.

Keyboard shortcuts to navigate the ribbon

You can use the Tab key or Shift+Tab to move to the tab you want and then press Enter to move to the command keys on the ribbon. Or, to open the tab you want, use the keyboard shortcut.
