Approve or reject a proposal

In some cases, approvers may receive an e-mail message in Outlook, notifying them of items that require their review and possible approval. In other cases, the approver will need to check for items requiring approval in Project Web App.

  1. Choose where to begin to review an approval request.

    • If you have received an e-mail message notifying you of an item requiring your review for approval, click Edit this Task on the message in Outlook.

    • If you have not received an e-mail message, on the Quick Launch in Project Web App, under Approvals, click Workflow Tasks.

  2. Click the item in the list that you want to review for approval.

  3. Review the requested change, and then click Edit Item.

  4. If appropriate, add a comment regarding your approval or rejection of the request, and then click Approve or Reject.
