How do I know if I'm an administrator in Business Contact Manager?
Symptoms
You do not have permission to perform some tasks in Business Contact Manager for Outlook, such as adding someone to the list of users who are allowed to share your database.
Cause
Some tasks in Business Contact Manager for Outlook can be performed only by an administrator on the computer on which the database is located. If you are an administrator, you might receive this message because you are not logged on as an administrator.

As an administrator on the domain, you have access to any Business Contact Manager database, whether or not you were specifically granted permission by the database owner.
Note: If you are an administrator on the computer or domain that is running Windows Vista or Windows 7, you can access the shared database by opening Outlook as an administrator. Right-click the icon you typically click to launch Outlook, and then select Run as administrator. If you open Outlook as a standard user, you cannot access the shared database, unless you have been granted permission by the database owner.
