Tag notes in Microsoft OneNote
Tags are a way to categorize and prioritize notes in OneNote. With tags, you can quickly return to important items, remind yourself about action items, or filter on notes you'd like to share with others. You can tag anything from a single line of text to an entire paragraph.

To add a To Do tag, tap the screen where you want the tag to appear, and tap the To Do icon on the Home menu.

To add another type of tag, tap the screen where you want the tag to appear, tap the Tags icon next to the To Do icon on the Home menu, and choose a tag.

To add a To Do tag, tap the screen where you want the tag to appear.

On the keyboard that appears, tap the To Do icon .
Note: You won't be able to add other types of tags from your phone. To add others, you'll have to use a iPad or computer.
