Refreshing cached financial data in Management Reporter

You can refresh cached financial data. The refresh cache function deletes the Microsoft Office PerformancePoint 2007 Management Reporter cache that contains financial data (such as accounts, periods, and so on) that is used in the building blocks. Use of this cache improves performance because Management Reporter does not have to access the financial data source database as frequently. If you add a new account to the financial data and you do not see the account in the account list in rows, you can delete the cache. Management Reporter will automatically refresh the data in the cache.

To refresh cached financial data source data, do the following:

• On the Tools menu, click Refresh Cached Financial Data.

  Management Reporter displays a message stating that the cache was successfully refreshed.
