Select an available action for an assignment in Planning Business Modeler

There are actions you can perform for each assignment definition and assignment instance. To do that, follow these steps.

1. In the Workspace Browser pane, click Process Management.

2. In the Process Management workspace, select Assignments in the View drop-down list.

3. In the list of assignments that is displayed, click to select the assignment for which you want to perform a task.

4. In the Assignment Tasks pane, click Available Actions. The Available Actions for (Name of) Assignment dialog box opens.

5. In the Select action drop-down list, select the action you want to perform.

6. Based in the action you selected, there might be one or more parameters listed in the Parameters table. If parameters are listed, in the Value column, select the value that you want to assign to each parameter.

7. (Optional). In the Comments box, enter a comment.

8. To finish, click OK.

9. (Optional). From the View menu, select Refresh. This step helps prevent conflicts between this action and any subsequent changes that you make.
