Manage user-defined fields in Business Contact Manager: Move to Tab

Manage user-defined fields in Business Contact Manager: Move to Tab

Use the Move to Tab dialog box to move user-defined fields and groups from one page of a form to another, such as from the General page to the Details page.

When you enter data in a form in Business Contact Manager for Outlook, you enter it into a field, such as Account name or Office, located on the Account form. Each field is part of a group on that form. For example, Account name and Office are both part of the Account group. The group name appears on the form as a sub-heading.

Important: To be included on a form, a field must be part of a group. If you do not specify a group, a default group is created for you.

  • Select the page to which you want to move the selected fields or groups, and then click OK.

Note: This is part of the process of creating customized Business Contact Manager forms. On the Business Contact Manager menu, point to Manage User-Defined Fields, and then click one of the following: Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or Business Project. In the appropriate Manage User-Defined Fields dialog box, select an existing field or group and then click Move To.
