Stereotype a UML element

1. Double-click the icon in the tree view or the shape in the diagram representing the element you want to stereotype.

2. In the UML Properties dialog box, for Stereotype, choose the stereotype you want, and then click OK.

   The stereotype appears in guillemets (<<  >>) above the element name on a shape in a diagram.

Tip: If the stereotype you want isn't listed, on the UML menu, click Stereotypes to define a new stereotype.
