View participants list and count
To view the group participants:

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

The names of all of the participants are shown in the Participants list.

The number count of participants in the group is shown directly below the group name.

If the group contains subgroups, the subgroup count will be visible. In addition, admins can select subgroups to view a list of subgroup participants.

Remove people from a group
To remove a person from a group:
-
Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.
-
In the Participants list, tap the name of the person you want to remove.

Tap Remove From Group.
-
The removed person will be unable to join the group unless added back by the admin.
Note: Only an admin can remove people. If a person is removed from an organization group, the person's group data can be cleared.
Assign or remove the admin role to another person
Admins can choose to make any other member an admin of the group.
To assign an admin role to a person in the group:

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

In the Participants list, tap the name of the person you want to make an admin of the group.

Tap Make Admin.
To remove the admin role from a person in the group:
-
Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

In the Participants list, tap the name of the person from whom you want to remove the admin role.

Tap Remove As Admin.
Link a group to an organization
If you have signed in to your Microsoft 365 work account on the Kaizala app, your personal groups can be converted to organizational groups at any time.
To link a personal group to an organization:

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

In the upper right corner, tap More, and then tap Add to My Organization.
Note: Only an admin can link groups to organization. Once linked, the name of the organization is displayed below the group name.
Leave a group
You can leave a Kaizala group at any time. If you are the only admin, you have to promote someone to admin before leaving. Leaving a group removes your chat history.
To leave a group:

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

In the upper right corner, tap More, and then tap Leave.
Mute or unmute a group
You can mute a group to stop receiving its notifications. When you mute a group, you won't be notified if someone replies to your messages in the group.
To mute a group:

On Android, from the Chats list, press and hold the group conversation, tap Mute group, choose a time duration from the options, and select OK. If you also select the option for Show notifications, then notifications for that group will show silently.

On iOS, from the Chats list, select the group conversation and swipe left, tap Mute group, and then select a time duration from the options.
Alternatively, you can also:

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

In the upper right corner, tap More, tap Mute, and then follow same steps as mentioned above.
To unmute a group:

On Android, from the Chats list, press and hold the group conversation, and then tap Unmute.

On iOS, from the Chats list, select the group conversation and swipe left, and then tap Unmute.
Alternatively, you can also:

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.

In the upper right corner, tap More, and then tap Unmute.
Delete a group
Deleting a group removes the group from the Chats list. If you are the only admin in the group, you will need to assign the admin role to at least one person in the group before deleting.
To delete a group:

From the Chats list, press and hold the group conversation.

Tap Delete group.
Change the profile picture of a group
To change the profile picture of your group:
-
Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.
-
On the profile picture, tap Camera.
-
Take a new photo or pick one from your gallery.
Note: Any group participant can change the group photo.
Change a group name
To change the name of a group:
-
Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.
-
Near the group name, tap Edit.
-
Change the name, and then tap the check mark.
Note: Any group participant can change the group name.
Pin or unpin a group
Pinning a group keeps it visible in your Chats list. Even if messages are received in other groups, pinned groups will always show at the top. Up to 10 conversations can be pinned at a time.
To pin a group:

On Android, from the Chats list, press and hold the group conversation, and then tap Pin conversation.

On iOS, from the Chats list, select the group conversation and swipe left, tap More, and then tap Pin conversation.
To unpin a group:

On Android, from the Chats list, press and hold the group conversation, and then tap Unpin this conversation.

On iOS, from the Chats list, select the group conversation and swipe left, tap More, and then tap Unpin this conversation.
Set group policies
Group and organization admins can configure group policies for organizational groups and public groups. Policies give you greater control over how participants interact within a group, such as whether they can share and forward content. Group policies can be configured only for organization groups and public groups, not private ones. For more information, see Kaizala management portal.
Report abusive content
Report content to an admin
You can report abusive content to the group admin for action.
-
Open the group conversation, and then long tap on abusive content.

Select Report.
-
Choose the reason for reporting from the list, and tap Submit.

Content will be reported to an admin and deleted for you.
-
Admin can then take necessary action – delete content for everyone in group or remove a user from the group, if needed.
Note: Admin will not see the name of person reporting content.
Report content to Microsoft
In public groups, you can report abusive content to Microsoft for action.
-
Open the group conversation, and then long tap on abusive content.
-
Select Report.
-
Choose the reason for reporting from the list.
-
Select the Report to Microsoft also check box on Android, or tap Yes in the dialog box with same title on iOS.

Content will be reported to admin as well as Microsoft and deleted for you.
-
Microsoft can remove content for everyone in the group, if needed.
Note: Admin will not see the name of person reporting content.
Report to a group profile to Microsoft
You can report public groups with abusive or objectionable group profile to Microsoft for action.

Open the group conversation, and then tap Group Info.
-
Select Report.
-
Choose the reason for reporting from the list, and tap Submit.

The group profile will be reported to Microsoft.
Note: Admin will not see the name of person reporting content.
View and act on reported content
Admins of the group are notified whenever a group participant reports a message.
-
From the Chats list, open the group conversation.
-
On the Group Info page, tap Reported Messages.
-
Alternatively, you can tap on the reported message notification to reach Reported Messages.
Note: This feature is visible to group admins only.

You will see all reported messages that need to be acted upon.
-
Tap to allow the reported message, tap to delete the message for everyone in the group, or tap to delete the message for everyone in the group and also remove the sender of message from the group.
Note: Removed users will be banned from joining the group again. Only admins can add them back.
