Use this tab to define presence subscription settings for all users.

User Settings

These settings apply to all Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) users in an Active Directory forest. Reasonable limits based on your particular infrastructure help to ensure optimum throughput and performance.

Maximum devices per user

Enter the maximum number of endpoints that a registered user can have. If this property is set to 1, only a single point-of-presence is available per user. If the value is greater than 1, multiple points-of-presence are available. Valid values are 1 through 64. The default is 8.

Enable users to view presence information for non contacts

Select this check box to permit users to poll the presence of users who are not on their contact lists. For example, an e-mail client might poll for the presence of people who have sent a user e-mail but who are not on the user's contact list.
