Modify a picture

1. Select the picture, and then on the Format menu, click Picture.

2. To change the appearance of the image, click the Image Control tab and drag the slider or type a value for the properties you want to change.

3. To reduce the size of the image, click the Compression tab and make your selections.

   Notes: 

   • You can modify any image file type except a metafile.

   • To see the effects of your selections on the image in your drawing before actually changing it, click Apply. You can then change your selections, or click Cancel to close the dialog box without changing the image. After you click OK, your compression settings cannot be changed.

   • The resolution of an image can be decreased, but cannot be increased.
