Resolve the 0xE0190193 (403: Forbidden) error in OneNote 2016 for Windows
If you get the 0xE0190193 error code, it means you're trying to access a shared OneNote 2016 notebook or section that isn't available to you. This can happen when the owner of the notebook (or the server administrator) intentionally or accidentally changes your permissions.
To resolve this issue, contact the owner of the shared notebook you're trying to use and ask to have view and edit permissions.
This error has occurred for me even though I am the owner.

ReplyDeleteSame thing is happening to me, I am the owner, I created the notebook, so dont have a clue why it will not synch now with this same error. Please advise when this is fixed please. Thank you very much. Note: I do use two seperate computers that access OneNote, but I am the owner and have signed in on both machines, so this shouldnt be an issue to be honest as ai have also accesed on my phone as well. In any case it will not synch from my computer at this stage.

ReplyDeleteI had the same issue yesterday evening & today but think I have sorted it. I have signed out of my account within Onenote (I use Onenote 2016), then signed back in and reopened my workbook. Seems to be working fine now.
ReplyDeleteSame here - These are my notebooks and not shared with anyone.

ReplyDeleteSame here. It looks like they must have introduced a bug in the past couple of days
ReplyDeleteI am having the same issue. I created the OneNote using my desktop but when I used my laptop to sign in and open it, I get the 403 FORBIDDEN. It's very frustrating because I wanted to have the mobility to work on my portfolio anywhere and now I am stuck to my desktop.
