Using a Lists tool

You may work with any of the following types of Lists tools:

• Lists tools downloaded from a SharePoint site to a SharePoint workspace.

  Some Lists tools in a SharePoint workspace may be external lists, which leverage the Business Connectivity Services features of SharePoint. This type of list shares most but not all features with lists that synchronize directly with a SharePoint site.

• Custom Lists tools that do not interact with a SharePoint site, added to a Groove workspace.
