Selecting a default entity in Management Reporter

Microsoft Office PerformancePoint 2007 Management Reporter displays the building blocks for one entity at a time. This entity is known as the default entity. All of your report design work applies to the current default entity until you select a different default entity.

To select a default entity, do the following:

  1. Close any open building block definition windows.

  2. On the Entity menu, click Entities.

    The Entities dialog box displays a list of existing entities. A check mark appears next to the default entity.

  3. Select an entity, and then click Set As Default.

    Note: If an existing entity does not appear in the Entities dialog box, you do not have permission to access that entity.
