Connect UML shapes

Connect UML shapes

  • To connect UML shapes, do one of the following:

  • Drag a begin point Begin point image - green square with X inside or end point End point image, which is plus sign in a green square on a one-dimensional (1-D) shape to a connection point Connection point image - blue X on a two-dimensional (2-D) shape.

  • Drag a begin point or end point on a one-dimensional (1-D) shape to the center of a two-dimensional (2-D) shape.

  • A red outline indicates a proper connection.

"Connect the green control handle of one shape to another, or drag the control handle onto the other shape"

  • When you release the cursor, the endpoint of the 1-D shape turns red to indicate that it's glued and you can move either shape without breaking the connection.
