Can I start page numbers with something other than 1 in Word Online?

You can quickly add page numbers to your document in Word Online, but you can't choose the starting value.

If you're familiar with the desktop version of Word, you might know that you can format the page numbers so they start with a certain value. For example, if the document you're working on picks up where another left off, you might want the first page to show as, for example, "Page 210." Word Online preserves this formatting when it's already in your document, but it doesn't yet provide a way to add the formatting.

If you have the desktop version of Word, you can add custom formatting of page numbers like this, and Word Online preserves that formatting. To make changes to your document in the desktop app, click Open in Word, and then format the page numbers.

When you're done and you've saved the document, it will continue to store the formatting when you open it in Word Online.
