Border Styles options

Use these options to format the border of a selected chart element.

Important: Depending on the selected chart element, some border options may not be available.

Border Styles

Width     To specify the width of the border, enter a number in the box.

Compound type     To apply a style that comprises double or triple borders, click Compound, and then click the style that you want.

Dash type     To apply a style that comprises combinations of dashes, click Dash, and then click the style that you want.

Cap type     To specify the style that is used for the end of the border, select the style that you want from the Cap type list.

Join type     To specify the style that is used when two borders connect with each other, select the style that you want from the Join type list.

Arrow settings

Note: Arrow settings are not available for borders.

Rounded corners     To round the corners of a chart elements, click this option. This option is only available when the chart area is selected.
