Use PowerPoint 2007 to open or save a presentation in another file format
Important:
-
Microsoft Office PowerPoint 2007 does not support saving to PowerPoint 95 and earlier file formats.
-
If you save your Office PowerPoint 2007 presentation to an earlier version of PowerPoint file format, formatting and features that are unique to Office PowerPoint 2007 may not be retained.
-
When opening or saving documents in the Open Document Presentation (.odp) format, some formatting might be lost and the behavior of some features might be limited or not available. For a list of supported features in the Open Document format, see Supported features in OpenDocument presentation (.odp) format.
-
In Office PowerPoint 2007, open the presentation that you want to save in a different file format.
-
Click the Microsoft Office Button , and then click Save As.
-
In the File name box, enter a new name for the presentation, or do nothing to accept the suggested file name.
-
In the Save as type list, select the file format that you want, and then click Save.
For more information about how to select a file format, see File formats that are supported in PowerPoint.
