Properties dialog box (Summary tab)

Title

Displays a descriptive title for the file.

Subject

Describes the contents of the file.

Author

Identifies the person who created or last updated the file.

Manager

Identifies the person in charge of the project or department.

Company

Identifies the company creating the drawing or the company that the drawing is for.

Language

Identifies the language of the file.

Category

Describes the drawing type, such as flowchart or office layout.

Keywords

Displays words that identify topics or other important information about the file, such as project name, client name, or version number.

Description

Displays information about the file, such as its purpose, recent changes, pending changes, and so on.

Hyperlink base

Contains the path to use for relative hyperlinks (hyperlinks for which the linked file location is described in relation to the Microsoft Office Visio drawing). By default, the path of a hyperlink is relative to the current document unless you type a different base path here.

Save preview picture

Specifies to save a preview picture of the first page in the file. The preview appears when you use choose Preview from the Views menu in the Open dialog box.
