Two step verification in kaizala

Two-step verification provides stronger security to your Microsoft Kaizala account. On enabling this feature, re-verification of your phone number with Kaizala requires an additional step along with one-time password (OTP) verification. This protects your account in case you lose your SIM or if your SIM card gets deactivated or compromised.

To get started:

  1. Go to Chats Image of the Chats tab in Kaizala > More Image of the More icon in Kaizala > Settings > Account settings.

  2. Tap Two-step verification.

  3. Follow the instructions to enable, disable, or manage two-step verification.

You can further secure your account by:

  • Using a PIN, or

  • Linking your Microsoft account

Use a PIN

You can set a six-digit PIN to confirm your identity when you log in. If you forget your PIN, Kaizala will send a temporary password to your recovery email address or phone number. To keep your account secure, don't share the temporary password with anyone. If you get locked out, or if you no longer have access to your recovery email address or phone number, you can always create a new account. For security purposes, all the media, data, and settings associated with the previous account will be permanently deleted.

Link your Microsoft account

You can link your Microsoft account as well, which is the email address and password you use to sign-in to Outlook.com, Hotmail, OneDrive, Skype, Xbox, or Windows. Once you link your Microsoft account, you will be asked to sign in to your Microsoft account at the time of re-verification. If you don't have a Microsoft account already, they're free and easy to create.
