Create a new OneNote for Windows 8 notebook on OneDrive

With OneNote for Windows 8, you can create a new notebook on OneDrive.

To create a new OneDrive-based notebook in OneNote for Windows 8:

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account.

2. On any page in OneNote, tap the gripper icon next to Recent Notes in the top left corner.

3. At the bottom of the gray pane that appears on the left, tap + Notebook.

4. Type a name for your new notebook (for example, Research Notes), and then tap ENTER.
