This document lists updates that are included in Microsoft Office Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2.

Meeting Client

Issue: The View Handouts pane did not display for conference centers that share multiple accounts in single database. Meeting participants could not see the handouts pane and therefore, could not download handouts.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.3, this issue is fixed.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2, this issue is fixed.

Issue: An unspecified issue was identified which caused some recordings to become corrupted.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2, this issue is fixed.

Live Meeting Manager

Issue: An administrator is unable to monitor usage of Standard and Professional features.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2, administrators can now monitor feature usage reports for their conference center. From the View Reports page there is a new Usage reports tab where you can now monitor usage for Easy Assist, Shared Recording, and Meeting Size.

Issue: Administrators did not have an option to disable video capabilities for their conference center.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2, there is a series of settings, allowing administrators to set the following video setting: Disable video for an entire conference center, Disable video for specific meeting organizers, or Disable video within a role. For more information, please refer to the Microsoft Office Live Meeting Service Administrator's Guide . This policy can be implemented through Live Meeting Manager or XML API.

When video has been disabled in the meeting, you may still experience the following issues. These issues are being addressed in future releases of the Live Meeting client.

• When only video has been disabled in the meeting, you will receive a Voice & Video error message. This error message is misleading because the meeting audio will still work.

• The Start My Video icon in the meeting client is not disabled when video has been disabled in the meeting. This does not affect Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN) meetings.

• The option to record the meeting video is shows that it is enabled when video has been disabled for the meeting. This is misleading because you will not be able to record video.

Live Meeting Registration

Issue: In Live Meeting Registration, when there was a unspecified exception, a blank page was displayed.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2, when there is an unspecified exception an error message is now displayed.

Issue: In Live Meeting Registration, when checking pending registration approvals on events registration, the event organizer could see only the registrants' first name. To view the last name, the event organizer would have to click the first name to then see the last name.

Resolution: With Live Meeting 2007 service Release 8.2, both the first name and last name are displayed in registration approvals.

Issue: In Live Meeting Registration, event organizers were limited to a maximum of 100 events for each organizer.
