Gantt Chart Options dialog box (Format tab)

Choose the formatting options you want for task bars, milestones, and summary bars in a Gantt chart.

Note: You can adjust formatting options at any time. On the Gantt Chart menu, click Options, and then choose the options you want.

Start shape

Select the type of shape you want to appear at the beginning of all task bars.

Finish shape

Select the type of shape you want to appear at the end of all task bars.

Left label

Select the column heading text you want to appear as a label at the left of all task bars.

Right label

Select the column heading text you want to appear as a label at the right of all task bars.

Inside label

Select the column heading text you want to appear as a label inside all task bars.

Shape

Select the type of shape you want to use to represent all milestones.

Start

Select the type of shape you want to appear at the beginning of all summary task bars.

Finish

Select the type of shape you want to appear at the end of all summary task bars.
