Copy pages and shapes in a Visio drawing

Duplicate a page

  1. Right-click the page tab at the bottom of the page you want to copy.

  2. Click Duplicate.

A new page is created that is a copy of the page you clicked.

Copy shapes to the same location on another page

When you copy a shape and then paste it on another page, the shape is copied to the same location on the new page that it had on the original page.

  1. Select the shapes you want to copy.

  2. Press CTRL+C to copy all the shapes.

  3. Click the page tab for the target page, or click the Insert Page tab to create a new page.

  4. On the target page, press CTRL+V to paste the shapes.

Copy a shape to a different location on another page

  1. Copy the shape by selecting it and pressing CTRL+C, or by right-clicking the shape and then clicking Copy.

  2. Click the page tab for the target page, or click the Insert Page tab to create a new page.

  3. Right-click the place on the page where you want to paste the shape, and then click Paste.

The shape is pasted where you right-clicked the page.
