Master Shortcut Properties dialog box

Properties

Name

Specifies the name that appears under the master icon in the stencil window.

Prompt

Specifies the text that appears when you point to the master icon in the stencil window. To change the text, type new text in the Prompt box.

Icon size

Choose Normal, Tall, Wide, or Double. The default icon size is Normal.

  • Tall is the same width as Normal, but twice the height.

  • Wide is the same height as Normal, but twice the width.

  • Double is twice as wide and twice as tall as Normal.

Align shortcut name

Specifies how the name is aligned.

Target

Master

Specifies the master from which the shortcut was created.

Stencil

Specifies the stencil to which the shortcut's master belongs.

Advanced

Drop actions

Specifies ShapeSheet cell values to set after dropping the shortcut on the page. For example, to apply a red fill color to a shape when it is dropped on the drawing page, enter the following:

FillForegnd = 2

Separate successive cell values with semi-colons.

Shape help

What you enter in this field depends on what help you want the shortcut to use.

  • To use the master's help, leave the field blank.

  • To set the master's help, right-click the master, point to Edit Master, click Edit Master Shape, select the master in the editing window, and then choose the Special command. Use the following syntax:

FILENAME!keyword or FILENAME!#Number

  • Filename is the Windows help file (either an .hlp or a .chm file).

  • Keyword is the index term associated with the help topic.

  • Number is a numeric ID which is referenced in the MAP section of the help project file.
