Unlink an appointment from a Business Contact Manager record

Unlink an appointment from a Business Contact Manager record

To unlink an appointment, meeting, or event from an Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or Business Project record, you can either:

  • Delete it from the Communication History section of the record

    Or

  • Delete it from the Communication History folder

However, deleting the link to a meeting does not delete the appointment, meeting, or event from Microsoft Office Outlook; the appointment remains in Calendar.

Unlink a meeting from a record

  1. On the Business Contact Manager menu, click Accounts, Business Contacts, Opportunities, or Business Projects.

  2. Open the Account, Business Contact, Opportunity, or Business Project record you want to unlink the meeting from.

  3. In the Ribbon, in the Show group, click Communication History.

  4. Right-click the appointment whose link you want to delete, and then click Delete.

Unlink a meeting from the Communication History folder

  1. On the Business Contact Manager menu, click Communication History.

  2. Right-click the appointment, meeting, or event, and then click Delete.

Note: If you have linked the appointment, meeting, or event to more than one record, there will be a separate copy for each link in the Communication History folder. To unlink all copies, select them all before deleting.
