Page Setup dialog box, Margins tab

Use the Margins tab in the Page Setup dialog box to specify page margins for the current view or report. You can:

  • Set the top and bottom margins.

  • Set the left and right margins.

  • Add a border around the pages.

Dialog box location

Display the view or report whose margins you want to set. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Margins tab.

Margins section

Top    Specifies the amount of space in inches from the top edge of the page to the beginning of printing.

Bottom     Specifies the amount of space in inches from the bottom edge of the page to the beginning of printing.

Left    Specifies the amount of space in inches from the left edge of the page to the beginning of printing.

Right    Specifies the amount of space in inches from the right edge of the page to the beginning of printing.

Preview    Shows the results of margin settings.

Borders around section

Every page    Prints a border around every page of your view or report. By default, this option is selected.

Outer pages    Prints a border printed around the outside pages of the printed view. This option is available only for the Network Diagram.

None    Specifies that no border should be printed around your view or report.

Command buttons

Print Preview    Displays the Print Preview window, which you can use to view the active view or report as it will appear when printed. Click Close to return to the current view.

Options    Opens the printer properties dialog box, which you can use to select the paper tray, page collation, and other printer-controlled options. These options are specific to your selected printer. For more information, refer to your printer documentation.

Print    Opens the Print dialog box, which you can use to print the active view or report. You can specify the number of copies and which pages to print. If you are in a form view or the Relationship Diagram view, you must select a different view on the View menu before you can print.
