Can I select specific cells or ranges?

You can select adjacent cells in Excel Online by clicking a cell and dragging to extend the range. However, you can't select specific cells or a range if they're not next to each other. If you have the Excel desktop application, you can open your workbook in Excel and select non-adjacent cells by clicking them while holding down the Ctrl key.

Click Open in Excel and select specific cells or ranges in Excel.
