If your organization has enabled pictures, you can choose whether to display a picture as part of your presence information, and if you do display a picture, whether to use your default picture or another one that you choose.
What do you want to do?
Open My Picture options
From the Microsoft Lync main window, you can open the My Picture options in one of two ways:
-
Click the Options button, and then click My Picture.
-
Next to the Options button, click the Show Menu arrow, click Tools, click Options, and then click My Picture.
Hide my picture
You can hide your picture from other Microsoft Lync Online communications software users. Your contacts will see a blank representation instead of your picture.
-
To hide your picture, open My Picture options, and then click Do not show my picture.
Show my corporate picture
By default, Lync Online displays your picture from the corporate directory, if available. If you have changed your picture, you can change it back to your corporate picture.
-
To show your picture from the corporate directory, open My Picture options, and then click Default corporate picture.
Choose my own picture
You can specify a different picture to appear to people in your company and contacts federated with your company. The picture must be located on a website that is publicly available. For details, see Prepare a picture for Lync Online.
Change back to my previous picture
To cancel changes and revert to your previous picture, open My Picture options, and then click Revert to Previous Picture.
