Print comments

Print comments

In Excel for Mac, you have a variety of options for printing comments.

Print all comments as they are displayed on a sheet

  1. Click the sheet.

  2. On the Review tab, in the Comments group, click Show All Comments.

  3. Move and resize any overlapping comments as necessary by dragging the comment borders or by using the sizing handle.

  4. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.

  5. In the Comments list, click As displayed on sheet.

  6. On the File menu, click Print.

Print specific comments as they are displayed on a sheet

  1. Click the sheet.

  2. Hold down CONTROL and click the cell that contains the comment, and then click Show Comment.

    Repeat this step for each comment that you want to print.

  3. Move and resize any overlapping comments as necessary by dragging the comment borders or by using the sizing handle.

  4. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.

  5. In the Comments list, click As displayed on sheet.

  6. On the File menu, click Print.

Print all comments on a separate page

  1. Click the sheet.

  2. On the Review tab, in the Comments group, click Show All Comments.

  3. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.

  4. In the Comments list, click At end of sheet.

  5. On the File menu, click Print.

Print specific comments on a separate page

  1. Click the sheet.

  2. Hold down CONTROL and click the cell that contains the comment, and then click Show Comment.

    Repeat this step for each comment that you want to print.

  3. On the File menu, click Page Setup, and then click the Sheet tab.

  4. In the Comments list, click At end of sheet.

  5. On the File menu, click Print.
