Connect to Dynamics CRM (Power Query)

Use Excel's Get & Transform (Power Query) experience to connect to your Microsoft Dynamics 365 (online) CRM system.

Click the Data tab, then Get Data > From Online Services > From Dynamics 365 (online). If you don't see the Get Data button, click New Query > From Other Sources > From Dynamics 365 (online).

  1. In the Dynamics 365 dialog box, enter the Web API URL for your Dynamics 365 connection. The url format is https://<tenant>.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/OrganizationData.svc.

  2. Click OK.

  3. In the OData feed dialog box, click Windows if the OData feed requires Windows Authentication.

  4. Click Connect.

  1. In the Power Query ribbon tab, click From Online Services > From Dynamics 365.

  2. In the Microsoft Dynamics 365 dialog box, enter the URL for your Dynamics 365 connection. The url format is https://<tenant>.crm.dynamics.com/XRMServices/2011/OrganizationData.svc.

  3. Click OK.

  4. In the OData feed dialog box, click Windows if the OData feed requires Windows Authentication.

  5. Click Connect.
