Modify Default Templates

The feature described in this Help topic is available only if any of the following versions of both Office SharePoint Server 2007 and Microsoft Office Enterprise 2007 are installed: Chinese (Traditional), Chinese (Simplified), Japanese, or Korean.

  1. Click the Site Action tab on the top right side of the Site page where Group Approval is installed. If the tab is not shown, make sure that you are logged in as administrator.

  2. Click Site Settings to go to the Site Settings page. You may have to click Site Settings and Modify All Site Settings again according to the templates applie to sites.

  3. Under the Group Approval Administration, click the Templates to go to the Group Approval Templates page. A list of currently using templates is displayed.

  4. Click the template to modify to go to the Change Template Settings page.

  5. In the Document Template area, click the Edit Template link. The template opens in the appropriate program.

  6. In the program, edit the content as needed. Add or delete as many signature lines as you want. To add a signature line, create one or copy an existing signature line in the position you want. Copying existing signature lines helps you create signature lines of the consistent size. To create signature lines for cosigners in the Cooperative/CoApproval scenario, right-click the signature line, and then click Signature Setup. Enter * in Suggested signer's e-mail address. In addition, if needed, modify other settings in the Signature Setup dialog box.

  7. Save the template document.

  8. Exit the program.

  9. Click OK button.
