My Print button and some printer settings aren't available
If there is a problem with the printer or printer driver, the connection to the printer might have been disabled, or some printer settings might have been hidden. You can try the following common solutions to fix the problem.
-
Run Microsoft Update. For more information, see Update Office and your computer with Microsoft Update.
Note: If your Microsoft Office product was installed with Microsoft Office Click-to-Run, use Click-to-Run Product Updates instead of Microsoft Update. In Office 2013 and Office 2016, click File > Account > Update Options, and then click the option you want. In Office 2010, click File > Help > Update Options, and then click the option you want. For more information about Office 2010 updates, see Update, repair, or uninstall Office Click-to-Run.
-
Go to the printer manufacturer's website and try to update the printer driver.
-
If you are on a network, contact an administrator.
