Database Properties for Entity, Type, and View shapes (Extended)

Use these options to specify DBMS-specific extended attributes for use with the Microsoft Office Visio database drivers.

Extended attributes are specific to a target DBMS, and allow you to control more precisely the way objects defined in your model are mapped to a target database.

Extended attributes are driver-specific and are not supported by all DBMSs.

Note: Unless you are the database administrator or have the equivalent permissions, for best results, do not change the extended attribute settings.

Default driver

Lists the default Visio database driver that was associated with the ODBC driver.

Extended attributes

Lists all extended attributes that have been modified through this utility.
